A snapshot of the climate and sustainability media landscape
Nearly a year on from 2022’s climate tech ‘boom’, Milltown Partners conducted a data-driven analysis of how the climate media landscape is evolving.
We wanted to take stock of what’s driven the climate conversation over the previous 18+ months, where audiences are getting their climate news, and how communications professionals can work with the growing climate media to highlight their sustainability efforts.
We found that climate newsrooms were growing rapidly, while new climate media properties were proliferating, with focus areas including extreme weather, global climate policy and climate innovation.
